If you follow footy, you’ll remember 1987 for Carlton’s win over Hawthorn in the VFL Grand Final in front of 93,000 fans at the MCG. It was also the last Grand Final played before the Great Southern Stand was built.
That’s also the year we opened. Unlike the scoreboard at the ‘G, we’ve never reset.
